Elechtromechanical II- 1st shift

Install, maintain and repair machines and tools such as lathes, boring machines, milling machines, drill presses, punch presses, hoists, conveyor equipment, etc. Disassemble, inspect parts and overhaul machines and troublesome machine components. Diagnose and remedy operating troubles. Lay out and machine replacement parts involving difficult machine set-ups with occasional improvising of tools and methods to adapt available machines for desired results. Work from drawings and specifications. Use a variety of precision measuring instruments. Requires knowledge of machining practices, equipment design and function.
Possesses trouble shooter and equipment repair skills for many types of plant/production electrical and mechanical equipment. Usually solves problems with little support. This position includes schooling, apprenticeship training, and/or experience with electrical and mechanical repairs. Needs to master all types of equipment to progress to Level I.
Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems and makes necessary repairs.
Repairs or upgrades equipment for improved operations.
Assists others to insure equipment is properly maintained.
Lubricates and cleans parts.
Start devices to test their performance.
Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
Reads blueprints.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma plus completion of Electrical/Mechanical Technician Program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with other employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
